Food Rules! Does it really?

Yes, it does. Yes, there are and yes, you do. Yes, food does rule, without it you would be nothing….literally, nothing, you would die. Food is what nourishes your body, as long as you plan to breathe, plan to eat. But what? You know the old saying, you are what you eat? Well that has never been more true than it is today. Yes, there are many rules around food, some are about etiquette, some are about what to eat with what, but there are rules. Some of us follow the food rules and live a long healthy life, and others, well they follow the rest of the people and lead a life of sickness and disease.

You see, all of nature has rules to follow. The sun, as powerful as it is, must always rise in the East and set in the West. If you trip, whether you are big, small, rich or not, gravity will make it difficult to stay upright. Food has rules too. We all know the simple food rules like “you have to eat breakfast because it is the most important meal of the day” or “the whiter the bread the quicker you’re dead”. It is up to you whether or not you feel that you are “above the rules” or not. If you eat CRAP (caffeine, refined sugars, additives and preservatives) then your body will feel like/become crap. If you skip meals you will have less energy. If you eat the wrong foods you will look and feel wrong. We know this. So decide right now what your FOOD RULES are.
