“G”ee, real food sure tastes great!

GREEN BEANS

(and their cousins, French beans, runner beans and Italian Beans!) aka String Beans, contain folate, an important B vitamin (not a lot but what is there is fully absorbed), a bit of calcium, some vitamin A, a nice does of potassium, manganese* (about 20% of DV);  a bit of beta carotene, and about 50% of DV of vitamin K; and 4 g of fibre

GOGI BERRIES

Have been used in Tibet for 1700 years for longevity, strength building, and sexual potency! BE AWARE of those “juice” that claim the gogi powers…not all processed fruits still are as good in as their natural state. They contain 18 amino acids, up to 21 trace minerals, and are a rich source of carotenoids and vitamin V, they are also high in fibre.

Note to smokers, in a study of 49 smokers, grapefruit juice (6 oz a day) helped to reduce the risk of cancer…it is safe to say that it will have a great effect on non smokers as well.
