Real Body = Real Food, can it really be that simple?

It really is quite simple…if you want a real body, eat real food. Real bodies are lean, healthy, pain and dis-ease free, they are active, energetic and full of life. That is what real food will do to you. If you continue to eat c.r.a.p. (caffeine, refined sugars, additives, preservatives) then you will continue to feel like crap.

So where can you start? At the beginning…let’s start with A:

Artichokes: Liver cleansing, digestion aiding, no-stomach-pain/nausea/vomiting, cholesterol lowering, magnesium filled, potassium rich,  folate, carotenoid and zeaxnthin full, AND between 6 and 9 grams of protein in ONE aritchoke! Oh yeah, and only 60 calories!

Arugula: aphrodisiac, folate, vitamin A, carotenoid and zeaxnthin full, same amount of calcium as spinach but less oxalates (a substance that lowers calcium absorption), 1/2 your daily recommended vitamin K (great for blood clotting and strong bones) and a couple of thins that when combined actually have anti-cancer-fighting agents. AND it’s only 5 calories in 1 cup!

Asparagus: traditional Indian medicine as a diuretic and to strengthen the female reproductive system, helps develop peace of mind, a loving nature, a good memory and a calm spirit (who else wants that???), promotes fertility, reduces menstral cramping, and increases milk production in nursing moms, a favourable ratio of potassium (440 mg to 1 cup) to sodium, vitamin B and K, anti0inflamatory, cancer fighting, flavonoid quercetin, AND 3.6 grams of fibre per cup with a ridiculously low calorie count of 40!
