Should I make a New Year’s Resolution?

Posted on Posted in Women and Food

So the theme of the month is…New Year’s Resolutions… Hmmm…I gave them up years ago! Life is a all about acceptance. Its about accepting who you are and where you want to go, not where you think you should go. Look back at the last year and see how far you have come. You are another year older, another year wiser and well, your health is a direct result of another year. 5 years ago, 2 days from now, i CHOSE to be different. I didn’t like that path my health was taking. I was on a stress leave from work, I was 40 some pounds over weight and I was on an array of prescription medications just to get me through my day.

I make a resolution to “lose weight” on the first and was back eating chips and ice-cream by the 3rd. Thank god for my friend Paulette who showed me a better way. My husband and I ordered our Isagenix nutritional program on January 6 and began 10 days later. WOW in just 4 days i began to feel like my old self again and my husband “felt fine”. Within 2 weeks I had more energy than I had had in months and my husband was “alright”. By the end of my 30 day program I released 17 lbs and my husband gained 9! He was ecstatic. He released 2 inches around his waist and put them around his chest – bigger and stronger than ever. I knew there had to be soemthing amazing here, I lost weight and he gained weight. This was like no other “diet” out there.

So began our wellness journey. Here we are 5 years later, we have only well days, we have no pharmaceuticals in the house (expect for the emergency Benadryl in case my hubby eats something he is allergic to). We all have, my children included and we are all better for it.

So what will your 2011 look like? Do you need to set New Year’s Resolutions? I don’t. I look at what I want my life to be and I go in search of SOLUTIONS! Isagenix is not only my SOLUTION to my health, but it has created a ongoing income stream of wealth too for my family. ( Your life is your life, but I will ask you the question, what will your life be like in 365 days from now if you keep doing what you have always been doing?
